Christian Brothers College Excited to Welcome Tottenham Hotspur Coach Gerald Lami in Term 2

Christian Brothers College (CBC) is thrilled to be welcoming an esteemed coach from Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Gerald Lami, who will be joining the College for the entirety of Term 2. This marks a significant milestone in CBC's commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for its students, staff, and coaches in the realm of sports and personal development.

Gerald Lami, renowned for his expertise and dedication to soccer coaching, has over 10 years of player development experience. Lami has pursued a career in soccer, seeing him progress as a player from grassroots to elite, and now as Head Coach of the Global Football Development Program at Tottenham Hotspur.

Lami aims to instil the Spurs' philosophy into the College’s training and Soccer Program, leading the development of aspiring players. Lami’s experience in nurturing talent and fostering a winning mindset promises to elevate the standard of soccer education and performance at CBC.

Throughout Term 2, Lami will be actively engaged with students across both the Junior and Senior CBC campuses, sharing invaluable insights, and guiding them through specialised training sessions designed to enhance their skills and understanding of the game. His arrival signifies a new era of soccer excellence at CBC, reflecting the school's ongoing commitment to offering a holistic education immersed with athletic achievement.

The Tottenham Hotspur Global Football Development Programme works closely with the Club’s Academy and Women’s Junior Talent Pathway to provide individual progression pathways for players of all development levels.

Player development is at the heart of the Club and The Global Development team impact around 6,500 players annually, as well as demonstrating year-on-year growth. Technical sessions are delivered by FA and UEFA-qualified coaches who take inspiration from the Club’s Men’s and Women’s First Team training methods to help develop every player that takes part on the programmes.
