Enrolment Information & Process

The main intake years for CBC are Reception, Year 7 and Year 10 with limited vacancies in other year levels.

Reception Intakes

Term 1 – Child turns 5 on or before the 30 April in that year

Term 3 – Child turns 5 on or before the 31 October in that year

Children whose birthday falls between 1 November and 31 December are not eligible to commence school before the following year.

Early Learning Centre (ELC)

The CBC Early Learning Centre is a long-day centre providing early education and care to boys and girls in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Children from 6 months to 5 years are accepted.

Tuition Fees

CBC offers an affordable all-inclusive fee structure which aims to ensure quality education is within reach for most families.  The college also provides fee discounts for students with siblings attending any Catholic school in South Australia. For further information see our Fee Schedule.

Priority of Entry

In the case of limited vacancies, preference is given to applicants in the following order:

  1. Brothers of current students
  2. Boys currently attending the CBC Early Learning Centre
  3. Sons of past students of CBC
  4. Boys currently attending a Catholic parish primary school
  5. Boys from other schools seeking a Catholic education
  6. Date of Application

Step 1 – Complete Enrolment Application

For Reception – Year 12 enrolment, please complete the Online Application for Enrolment.

Please return all completed forms to College Registrar, Mrs Rita Micale via email at rmicale@cbc.sa.edu.au.

Step 2 – Enrolment Interview

On the completion of the Enrolment Application, an enrolment interview may be organised for your family. Please note we commence enrolment interviews 2 years to 18 months in advance.

Step 3 – Offer of Position

Following the interview, an Offer of Position may be forwarded to you inviting you to accept the position by paying the non-refundable enrolment deposit of $200.00 (which will be credited to the first term fees) by the date specified on the College’s Offer of Position.
