Christian Brothers College’s First XI Soccer Team secures State Knock-Out Final Position

In a thrilling showcase of exceptional sportsmanship and skill, Christian Brothers College's (CBC) First XI Soccer Team secures a position in the highly anticipated State Knock-out Final.

The team’s triumph in securing this position comes after a season of hard-fought matches that demonstrated their unwavering dedication, teamwork, and passion for the world game.

"Our boys deserve to be in the State Final – they have played such an incredible season and wouldn’t be here without the utmost dedication, determination and expertise” says Mr Marcelo Carrusca, Technical Director of Soccer and First XI Coach, Christian Brothers College.

As the team prepares for the final, they are more determined than ever to showcase their skills and unity on the field.

With the College’s new Soccer Program starting in 2024 as part of its strategic partnership with Tottenham Hotspur, it hopes to bring home the championship title of soccer year after year.

“CBC looks forward to having a Tottenham Hotspur Coach come down to work with the boys and the College coaches who will implement the Spurs philosophy of training, giving them an elite edge in soccer” says Mr David Johnston, Principal, Christian Brothers College.

CBC will be playing against Henley High School on Tuesday 26 September at FFSA Football Stadium in Gepps Cross.
