Labs
The Rice
and Hurley laboratories are used predominantly for computing
classes, but the Internet facilities provide a valuable tool
for world-wide research in a number of curricular topics. Both
labs are equipped with audio-visual facilities to enhance classroom
lectures.
All students
have access to a range of the latest software, including Microsoft
Office products (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), advanced design packages
(including CAD programs and Paintshop Pro) as well as industry
standard tools such as MYOB Accounting Software, Toolbook Publisher
and Netscape Communicator.
Students can
develop skills in design and publishing with a range of specialised
software tools, including Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop
and Pagemaker. |
