CBC Ovals CBC enjoys access to a number of ovals/pitches/sportsfields/courts through the Adelaide parklands. In the east, there is two full sized football fields/cricket pitches which are used predominantly for weekend sports and athletics days. These are meticulously maintained by CBC Ground Maintenance Officer Mr Michael Williams, and feature changerooms, canteen and storage sheds. Nearby are the Wakefield Street Courts, with four artificial-surfaced courts available for basketball in winter and tennis in summer. This is in addition to the six tennis courts on Hutt Street, also equipped with artificial stuface, to provide an ideal location for tennis in summer, and hockey training in winter. South along East Terrace, there are Soccer pitches that are used by both junior and senior teams. All these facilities boast a scenic backdrop of the Adelaide Hills, with close access to city transport. |
